Looking for a different sort of fundraiser for your child’s school? Tired of candy and magazines? beachgreens, a local Long Beach based business, wants to help! beachgreens delivers locally and organically grown produce direct from the farmer to your home or office. This year we want to deliver directly to your school in Long Beach, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos or possibly other nearby area.
beachgreens is a great way to save time and money, to eat healthier, and feel better! This is also an opportunity to teach our kids about eating healthier, where our food comes from, and what real fresh food tastes like.
Just like the produce we deliver, we are looking to develop an organic program from the ground up that works for your school. This could include cooking demonstrations and educational opportunities, or just produce delivery, you choose!
We charge the school $25 per box, and the school charges $30 per box to the family. That’s $5 per box sold going back to the school!! We deliver once per week, on Wednesday afternoons, or Thursday. There is a minimum of 5 boxes per delivery. Money must be collected in advance, and the commitment is on a monthly basis. PTA volunteer help is required.
