Butter Lettuce with Mustard Vinaigrette

Serves: 2 Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 head butter lettuce salad, cleaned and torn into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • Fine sea salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • about 1/8 cup olive oil
  • Coarse French Sea Salt
  • Instructions:

    For dressing, in a small bowl combine mustard, vinegar, fine sea salt and pepper - whisk to combine ingredients. Gradually whisk in the olive oil in a thin stream until emulsified.

    Distribute lettuce onto salad plates. Drizzle generously with dressing. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
